SeaSide Projects is the collection of the things I've done, I'm doing, and I'm thinking about. House projects, brand building, ideas and concepts, and other things worth exploring. I've always kept a little book or folded paper in my pocket to jot down ideas, then moved into the "notes" app on my phone, but most of the ideas just quietly live out their days in obscurity with only the occasional glimpse back by me - coupled with a soft mumble of "hmm...there's some good stuff in here".
It's taken time to realize but building is the thing I like to do most. Building with natural materials, with brands & businesses, with physical & digital tools. I like to get into it. See if I can do it myself. See what there is to be seen, learn what there is to be learned (YouTube helps a lot), and then do what there is to be done. Because of that I have learned a decent amount about a lot of things. With knowledge across a spectrum of subjects that cross over in surprising and helpful ways.
And while that doesn't give me accreditations after my name or make me an "expert" in any one thing, it does make me a fairly useful person to have around. And from my experience, useful and thoughtful people that like to laugh and work hard make some of the best stuff and have the best time doing it.
